I never used to be a big fan of Pret and I'm certainly no fan of chains but because of the customer service in this branch I became a huge fan! I leave this branch with a spring in my step and a smile on my face, sometimes no mean feat in London town!
You know what you're getting with Pret and I have to say they have a few staple items that are delicious and yes the prices could be a tad cheaper but the customer service is always really good, friendly and polite.
I certainly recommend this branch, they literally make your day! -

After attending a conference in London, I've found myself particularly hungry around lunchtime. So I stopped by the Pret A Manger in Marylebone to purchase a yogurt with seeds, and a fruit topping that included nuts. I also purchased a sandwhich with avocado, accompanied by a sprig of broccoli along with a deliciously enticing herb flavor. It was neither too light, nor too heavy, and was exactly what I needed on a spring day.

I have been to other locations, mostly in New York, and had aways been pretty happy.
The main reason that I have to give this location such a low rating is the selection. The other day I was in the area and was looking for something for lunch. Having not been to a Pret in a while I decided to stop in here. While they had several different types of sandwiches to choose from, they didn't have one that did't have mayo. Not being a fan of mayo, this meant that I had to find someplace else to eat.
Unfortunately I can't comment on anything else about this location since I didn't stay... -

The first two times I have ever had less friendly service at Pret a Manger, was here over the past week.
A young Eastern European lady with long dyed red hair, no name badge and behaved like she was the manager was almost ice age cold. Yesterday another person was not great either.
However today they were really friendly again, maybe because this manageress was not around?
A shame to see this, because I have gone to Pret a Manger about twice a week over the last ten years and normally the service is fantastically friendly.
It got 3 stars because of it's great fresh food, but service is 1-2 stars, when normally Pret a Manger service is 5 stars. -

I can see why the UK is almost as fat as the US. When you walk into any of the many Pret A Mangers littering London, you'll find that the sandwiches without mayonnaise are clearly labeled "NO MAYO." The use of mayo is so prevalent that its lack is rare enough to demarcate in the same way one would signal "VEGAN."
Really, though, I have little beef with this chain. It's convenient, with plenty of ready-made food that's guaranteed to be relatively fresh. The prices are fair, and there's very little hassle involved in the process. I also like that calorie counts are clearly listed, and that slim options are easy to find.
I stopped by the Baker Street location and tried a breadless crawfish avocado sandwich, which was essentially a small salad. It wasn't amazing or anything, but it was solid, with tasty crawfish and some nice avocado. Matt B. had a croissant, which was cheap and reasonably decent.
This Pret has a lot of underground seating, and while it has a little bit of a basement feel, it's comfortable. I also understand that Prets have wireless, though I must admit we couldn't figure out how to use the system. Regardless, Pret is a useful British chain.
